Mae Studio is a Christchurch-based interior styling and design studio. Founded by Olivia Kennedy, it is focused on creating refined, thoughtful and liveable interiors. Born from a passion for beautifully curated spaces and an appreciation for the way a home can shape everyday living, the studio was created to offer a more approachable and styling-led alternative to traditional interior design services.

Specialising in residential styling, interior design direction, and curated furniture and accessory sourcing, Mae Studio works closely with clients to create homes that feel both elevated and deeply personal. With a strong emphasis on warmth, cohesion, and timeless design, each project is approached with an editorial eye and a considered understanding of how spaces are truly lived in.

While not focused on technical drawings or architectural documentation, Olivia’s approach offers thoughtful guidance across the key visual and material elements of a home - including kitchen and bathroom selections, tile and surface finishes, colour palettes, lighting, furniture layouts, and collaboration with joiners and suppliers to help refine the overall design. The studio works with clients to bring clarity and confidence to the vision of their home, whether refreshing a single room, furnishing a new build, or refining the details of a renovation.

Alongside residential projects, Mae Studio also offers editorial styling services for interior shoots, campaigns, and creative collaborations.
